A historic one-of-a-kind WWII tank nicknamed ‘Mother’ is now on display for three days in the UK.
The M50 Sherman tank, originally built in 1942, is featured at the Yorkshire Wartime Experience from today (9 August) until Sunday 11 August.
It is the largest military vehicle and re-enactment event in the north of England, as reported by Need To Know.

The magnificent driveable war machine has been perfectly maintained by a museum for a large portion of its post-war life.
Finished in an iconic blue armoured exterior, ‘Mother’ will be a great addition to the display.
Eden Camp Modern History Museum has helped preserve the unique piece of WWII history as part of its commitment to the past.
Visitors wanting to see the unique machine at the wartime experience will also have access to live battles and a wide range of exhibits and displays from different eras.
The event welcomes families, history enthusiasts and the general public to step back in time.
Through showcasing interactive and immersive experiences, the hosts hope visitors will gain a deeper understanding of wartime history.
