A woman who was sexually harassed by a stranger on public transport has recorded the shocking moment an unknown man touched himself while staring at her.
The woman, who has chosen not to share her name, managed to capture footage of the person in the act during her bus ride home.
In the video, a man with black hair who appears to be in his 40s, wearing a white T-shirt and grey knee length shorts, can be seen committing an indecent act.

The incident reportedly occurred around 5am on Sunday (4 August) onboard a 453 bus travelling down New Road.
According to the victim, she got on the bus at 4.50am at the Elephant and Castle / New Kent road stop.
She says the bus was heading toward Deptford Bridge and claims it was full of people.
The victim believes that the man in the video also got on the bus at this stop.

During the route, a large number of passengers got off at the New Cross bus garage.
This left the seats opposite the woman free, allowing the man in question to take a seat.
As the journey went on, the victim stated that she could sense the man looking at her while moving.
Beginning to feel uncomfortable, she discreetly began recording him while looking out of the window.
After reviewing the shocking footage, she noticed that he appeared to be touching himself inappropriately.
“I sat at the back of the bus which was filled with people and I later noticed the man pass me to stand by the stairs looking my direction and sit there until seats became available,” the victim told Need To Know.

“Majority of people got off the bus at New Cross bus garage and that’s where he sat on the other side of me.
“I could see in my peripheral vision of him looking in my direction and fidgeting.
“I could just sense he was acting weird.
“I recorded him whilst looking out the window and didn’t see what he was doing or for how long he was doing it for until I looked at my phone and saw what he was doing.
“I was shocked.”
In the video, the victim confronts the man, who appears to attempt hiding his face in his hands.

She gets up and approaches the driver to alert him of the situation.
While doing so, the man quickly exits the bus.
The victim says she missed her stop, leading her to get off and walk back to the previous bus stop.
But she then notices the man nearby and once again confronts him, as seen in another video.
She claims he followed her for some time, sitting nearby and staring at her.
The victim eventually headed home.
She has since filed a report with the police.
Jam Press contacted British Transport Police for comment.
