A 26-year-old TikToker has been found dead with signs of violence in the locked flat where she lived alone.
Mum-of-one Asneydi Yurdisnevi García Garzón’s neighbours raised the alarm after noticing a stench coming from her apartment.
Her friends and boyfriend, Víctor Buitres Barrios, 48, were worried because they hadn’t heard from her for about a fortnight.

The owner of the flat was called to the scene to open the apartment, which was locked.

He apparently didn’t have a spare key, as local media say he arrived with a locksmith.
Ms García was reportedly found unresponsive in her bed next to a stuffed toy.
Paramedics were called to the scene and confirmed she was dead.
There were reportedly signs of violence on her body, which was taken away for an autopsy.
At the time of reporting, the cause of her death was still a mystery.

It’s believed Ms García had been dead for several days, as reported by Need To Know.
Prosecutors in Mexico City, where she was found, are investigating her death as a possible femicide.
Ms García had arrived in Mexico from her native Colombia two years ago.
She had thousands of followers on Facebook and TikTok, where she periodically posted heavily filtered selfies.

She called herself Muñeca, which means doll, and was a big fan of anime, which inspired the content she shared.
The police are reportedly investigating two individuals believed to be from Venezuela.
They were last seen with her and the three had apparently been in contact.
Local media say Ms García was the mother of a child, whom she had left behind in Colombia.
