DNA test results now confirm it’s the same person.
Bonzi was 59 and worked as a concierge in a block of flats.
Shortly before going missing, he had made an alarming post on social media.
It said: “This is my last post and one of the final actions of my life.
“The reason is a romantic disappointment that I just couldn’t handle.”
The police believe Bonzi fell victim to an internet cryptocurrency investment scam.
Reports say the scammer posed as Anglo-Albanian singer, Dua Lipa.
Bonzi is believed to have sent money to the phoney singer-songwriter, as reported on Need To Know.
An acquaintance told local media: “He told me she called him ‘my love’.
“I think he made two bank withdrawals at the end of February, two amounts of 2,500€ (£2,100) each.
“And in early March he said he had sent her the money.
“I believe that person then disappeared. He was upset and distressed.
“He was convinced of the relationship he had with her and felt deeply betrayed. It was a huge disappointment.”
The police believe Bonzi took his own life after the blow.
His son, Luca, wrote in a heartbreaking post: “Dad, it doesn’t matter what you did.
“We will all love you forever. Please don’t suffer any more, and please watch over me now more than ever.”
