A nail tech has revealed she spent £31,000 and shed 12 stone on a quest to become completely unrecognisable.
Natalie King has had a number of surgeries to transform her look, including two boob jobs, a tummy tuck, a facelift and a rhinoplasty.
The 55-year-old most recently had a £9,000 facelift and dyed her long, black hair, platinum blonde.
To complete her new look, Natalie is now considering having an arm lift which she vows will be her final surgery.
She has been trying to transform her image since 2015 when at 24 stone, she became too heavy to ride her three horses.
Natalie managed to shed 12st in 17 months and shrank from a size 26 to a size 12, but says she was left hating her ‘nothing’ breasts and ‘baby belly’.
In 2016, she decided to sell her horses and forked out £4,600 for a boob job where she went from a C cup to a G.
Three years later, she had a second boob job to go to a H cup which cost £1,200.
She splashed out on a £9,000 tummy tuck in 2020, and in 2021, she spent £7,500 on a nose job.
Natalie, from Truro, Cornwall, told Need To Know: “I looked in the mirror and thought ‘this isn’t me’. I used to be slim.
“I couldn’t ride my horses because I was too heavy, so I joined Slimming World.
“When I started to see a change, I felt more confident and better looking. I didn’t expect the change I’m at now, it wasn’t intended. I wanted to go back to the years that I missed.
“I lost all that weight, but I don’t know if my head caught up with it, I still felt like that bigger person.
“I sold my horses. I became more interested in nails, cars and clothes. I wanted the glam life. I like different things now.
“I lost my boobs after I lost weight.
“There was nothing there and I wasn’t happy with them. Then I had a tummy tuck to get rid of a baby belly.
“I had a nose job because I’ve always disliked my nose, I wanted it more upturned and smaller.
“I’m thinking about having an arm lift and then that’s it.”
Natalie says she’s become so unrecognisable that friends have blanked her in the street.
She said: “Sometimes, people I know don’t recognise me. I’ll say hello and they look at me blankly and I can tell they’re thinking, ‘Who are you?’.
“I love shopping for smaller clothes. I used to have to shop in places that sold bigger sizes, but now I can shop anywhere. I love wearing figure-hugging clothes.”
Natalie was also diagnosed with a fatty liver and told she’d only have five years to live if her unhealthy lifestyle continued.
After skipping breakfast, Natalie’s diet consisted of scotch eggs, pastry, sausage rolls, pizzas, crisps and curries.
Natalie said: “I always wanted to lose weight. I had three horses, but I had a riding accident where I pushed a disc in my back and I couldn’t walk properly for months.
“I was eating and getting fatter, becoming addicted to food and getting greedy. I’d eat pizzas, chocolate and takeaways. I ate out of boredom.
“I was getting out of breath and had a fatty liver. I was having blood pressure tests and the doctor said if I carried on, then I’d only have five years.
“I started suffering with anxiety. Being warned that I’d only have five years left was scary. When I started losing weight, I hoped it wasn’t too late.
“I feel a lot better and I’m working on my confidence. I am healthy now and my liver has repaired itself.”
