An influencer has revealed she has been involved in a “very, very bad” jet ski accident.
Elsy Guevara called the incident the “worst experience of her entire life” as she thanked fans for their support online.
In a video posted to her Instagram page (@elsyguevara), Elsy said she was treated for her injuries in hospital, as reported by Need To Know.
It racked up over 139,000 likes.
In the video, Elsy says: “Hi guys, I’m finally back home after the worst experience of my entire life.
“I just got back home from the hospital today, I don’t know if you can tell but my face is swollen.
“I look crazy.
“I was involved in a very, very bad jet ski accident.”
Elsy said she was in hospital for four days and would be sharing her “healing journey” in the coming weeks.
She said: “I’m so happy I’m back at home
“And look at how swollen my hand got at the hospital because of all the IVs that they had to input.
“It looks so bad.
“I also currently have this breathing machine for my lungs because they are super weak so we are trying to get them up and working.
“I’m supposed to use this like ten times every hour.”
The influencer shows herself using the machine and explains how she was sent home with various forms of medication.
She also shows a chair that she used to shower with the help of her sister.
After posting the video, Elsy was inundated with well wishes.
