Horrifying footage shows the moment a man falls off a dam and drowns after performing a dangerous stunt alongside two friends.
The clip features three men climbing onto the slippery structure in front of a crowd of people bathing in the water.
As one of them reaches the top, standing on the edge of the dam at the overflow point, he extends his hand to his friend.

Moments later, tragedy ensues.
Two of the men lose their grip and fall back into the crowd at the shallow end.
The third man appears to slip and falls backwards, as gasps of shock can be heard in the crowd.
“He has vanished,” one person says.
“He has slipped [in the dam],” another voice can be heard saying.
Bystanders attempted to rescue the man but he tragically drowned.
The incident took place on 15 August at Makardhokda dam and reservoir in Umred, Nagpur, India.
The crowd had reportedly gathered to celebrate the country’s Independence Day, as reported by Need To Know.
Another clip has also surfaced, showing people swimming on both sides of the dam.
The victim has not been named in the local press.
An investigation is now underway as authorities warn tourists not to approach the dam.
