A cascade of concrete blocks and soil squashed the remaining parked vehicles amid a cacophony of car alarms.
Locals reported hearing a loud cracking sound minutes before the collapse on Saturday (24 Aug) morning.
One of the seven crushed cars was a brand-new Subaru Forester registered just a day earlier.
Three of the seven cars were crushed beyond repair.
Two other drivers had also managed to save their cars in the nick of time thanks to a good Samaritan.
Local man Sergey told local media in Vladivostok, Russia: “When I stepped outside, I noticed small stones falling and the trees shaking.
“I started banging on the cars to set off the alarms, hoping the owners would come out. We called the owners whose numbers we had.”
It’s believed the wall collapsed because of heavy rains, along with missing drainpipes to divert groundwater.
Vladivostok mayor Konstantin Shestakov has ordered an investigation to determine who is responsible.
All the damaged cars were expensive models, as reported by Need To Know.
Anyone held responsible will be liable for millions of rubles in compensation to the owners.
