A foolish motorist has been blasted for driving along a main road with a mattress precariously balanced on the roof.
A passenger in the back seat is seen holding onto it as the tiny, blue hatchback hurtled along.
Another, in the front also, appears to be clutching the other side of the double bed.

It doesn’t appear to be strapped to the top of the car in any way.
A horrified car user spotted the dangerous act on the 50mph A312 Hayes Bypass in Hayes, west London.

They filmed it on a seven-second video as the driver then indicated to come off the dual carriageway.
It happened on Saturday (24/8) evening, as reported on Need To Know.
Locals mocked the driver and the occupants.
Oliver Martin quipped: “Going to Bedford.”
Carl Green joked: “He’s got a soft top.”

Enock Lutalo said: “I was about to do this on my Golf the other day.
“But it rained.”
Another added: “Wait till you see how I carried my Ikea wardrobe in my convertible.”

Nadir Shahriyar said: “If Mr Bean can do it with a sofa, a mattress is nothing.”
The Met Police has been approached for comment.
