A Border Force boat used to deal with migrants crossing the English Channel got marooned on a sandbank.
The mishap happened yesterday (Aug 5) morning.
The boat – called Volunteer – was got stuck due to an outgoing tide.

It happened in Ramsgate Harbour, Kent.
Attempts were made by another Border Force vessel Hurricane to tow her off the sandbank.
But eventually the crew were taken ashore by a smaller vessel, called Bumble, as reported by Need To Know.
The Home Office said operations were not affected.
It also said no one was hurt and there was no damage to the boat despite the blunder.
A Home Office spokesperson said: “We confirm that a Border Force crew transfer vessel was grounded by the outgoing tide at Ramsgate.
“There was no operational impact as a result of this incident, which has not caused any injuries or material damage.
“The boat is expected to return to operational duty shortly.”
