A suspected thief who allegedly tried to pinch some STEAK from Tesco was thwarted after FIVE brave workers nabbed him.
Cops were called after the bald man was suspected of attempting to steal the meat.
The male staff – four in their blue supermarket uniform and the other a security guard – grappled with him in the aisle.

Food was knocked off the shelves during the melee.
One of the Tesco employees said: “Call the police, call the police.
“Call the police.”
The man then replied: “Ah help me, help me.
“I’ve done nothing wrong.”
One of the supermarket workers said: “Why you fighting?”
It happened just after 7pm on Wednesday (4 Sept) at Tesco, on Empire Way, Wembley – in the shadows of the national football stadium.
One witness said: “I filmed it.
“The man came and allegedly tried to steal steak.
“Police arrived but let him go straight after.”
Locals applauded the Tesco workers for their bravery, as reported on Need To Know.
One – named Michael – said: “Well done Tesco.”
Kat added: “The problem is, no one needs to steal food.
“Just go to the food bank or community fridge.”
Another said: “Deserves it.”
A Met Police spokesperson said: “We were called at approximately 7:25pm on Wednesday, 4 September after a man had been detained on suspicion of theft by staff at a shop in Empire Way, Wembley.
“Officers attended.
“The items stolen were returned to the shop and staff confirmed they did not wish to pursue the matter.
“The man was not arrested.”
