The pair crashed into several easels displaying artwork before scrapping on the floor.
The two culprits had arrived at the Gastronomy and Tourism High School in Quilpué, Chile, to attend a meeting at 8.30am on Tuesday (3 Sept).
Their sons had allegedly brawled on the school grounds and they had been called to the institution to address the matter.
The subsequent altercation between the dads resulted in destroyed school materials and two injured workers.
A school employee also claimed that one of the fathers was carrying a knife, as reported by Need To Know.
“The police showed up to take relevant statements and evaluate the legal implications that would help us proceed with an investigation immediately,” stated a school spokesperson.
“We deeply regret that our staff members were exposed to these events.”
One of the injured workers said: “We deserve to be able to go to school with the peace of mind that our day will be safe, our students can be calm, and that we can all return home to our families safely.
“The existence of such violent instances where there is the presence of knives is very serious.
“We cannot carry out academic activities under the illusion that everything is fine.
“What happened on Tuesday is very serious and it concerns us all as a community.”
The investigation into the brawl is ongoing.
