The content creator, who boasts 1.3m followers on Instagram, is now focusing on herself, starting with regaining her natural pout.
The 30-year-old has ditched the filler in a bid to become the most authentic version of herself – and to have the feeling of a natural kiss once again.
“I wanted to look in the mirror and see my real self, without fillers,” Wanessa told Need To Know.

“I was tired of trying to fit into a standard, that deep down, wasn’t truly mine.
“I felt a bit numb in my lips and that started to bother me.
“I missed the feeling [of a] natural kiss, [it was] contact that I no longer had.
“My lips had always been naturally perfect and what I did just ruined them.”
Wanessa, from São Paulo, Brazil, also says having filler was “frustrating” and left her looking “awful”.

She said: “I asked for one thing and ended up with something completely different.
“I waited a week for the product to settle and nothing.
“It just looked awful.
“I simulated a kiss and it didn’t feel soft.
“That really upset me.
“I became anxious and decided to remove everything.”
Following the removal, Wanessa is now reflecting on cosmetic procedures and how they can affect personal identity.
She added: “You have to be really careful not to lose your essence and identity with these crazy procedures.
“In my case, I realised I was drifting away from who I truly am.
“I started questioning why I was doing all of this.
“Was I transforming myself for me or to please others?
“That’s when I realised that less is more.

“I thought long and hard before making this decision.
“It’s a painful and lengthy process, but now I feel free.
“I feel lighter and more confident.
“I thought I needed so many things to be beautiful, but now I know that beauty lies in being natural, being true to yourself and embracing who you really are.”
