Raging wildfires have engulfed an entire highway in Portugal.
In terrifying footage, a driver can be seen making their way through an ocean of flames.
In the video, walls of smoke and fire can be seen spreading across the road, making it almost impossible to see.

The footage was captured on the A1 road in the Albergaria-a-Velha area, as reported by Need To Know.
Pedro Lobo captured the recording on 16 September.
Thousands of firefighters have been called to battle fast-spreading wildfires that are forcing the evacuation of entire villages.
Stretches of highway between Lisbon and Porto have been shut due to the thick smoke.
The fires have been caused by unusually dry conditions in the country with wind of up to 43mph making the situation worse.
As of Tuesday (17 September), over 65 fires had been reported across the country, with authorities deploying 12 water-bombing aircrafts.
Parts of the nation have been on fire since the weekend, with temperatures sitting around 30 degrees Celsius across the country.
Members of the public have been left shocked by the footage.
One said: “Are these people safe yet, may god protect them.”
Carlos Santos added: “This is absolute madness.”
Another stated: “I hope everyone there is safe and that you make it through this fire.”
Jose Costa said: “Crazy people driving on the highway with a fire like this.”
Another said: “I hope this nightmare ends soon.”
