A nine-year-old lad was crushed to death by a goalpost as he flew a kite on a football pitch.
The 80kg (176lb) portable goal fell onto Gioele Putzu in the freak accident.
Paramedics were dispatched to the scene but were unable to revive him.

The tragedy happened on a municipal sports field in Ozieri in Sardinia, Italy.
Gioele was from Olbia but had gone to the town with his family to see a concert on Saturday (14 Sept).
An investigation has been opened by prosecutors in Sassari, where his body was taken for a CT scan.
The post-mortem gave his cause of death as abdominal trauma from compression resulting in a fatal heart injury.
The horror unfolded shortly before superstar rapper Fedez performed in Ozieri’s patron saint festivities.
Gioele’s devastated dad, Ivan, criticised the musician on social media.
He wrote: “Hi, Fedez. I thought you were more compassionate, especially since you have children.
“While you were performing in Ozieri, I, Gioele’s father, was 200 metres away from you.
“I was on the ground with my son, begging him to open his eyes and asking for my life in exchange for his.
“We live in Olbia and came to Ozieri because my son sang your songs and wanted to see you perform live.
“He never got that chance. You could have chosen not to perform for one night out of respect for my grief.”
Fedez later took to social media to defend himself.
He said he’d learnt of the tragedy shortly before going on stage and asked the audience to observe a minute of silence.
Ivan later said he regretted making the post.
Gioele will be laid to rest in Olbia today (18 Sept), as reported by Need To Know.
No one has been named as a suspect so far.
