A ‘jealous’ man allegedly slaughtered his wife and his ex with a handmade sword after a row.
Renan dos Santos Moraes is accused of killing spouse Luana Meirelles, at their home.
He then allegedly went to the shop where his ex worked and struck Ana Júlia Ribeiro Fernandes several times with the handcrafted weapon.

Fernandes, 22, was rushed to a hospital, but she died there two days later on Saturday (21 Sept).
Moraes, 23, was arrested on Thursday (19 Sept) in Edéia, south-west of Brasília, Brazil.
An order to keep him in custody was issued at a hearing on Friday (20 Sept).
Meirelles, 28, was a stay-at-home mum, as reported by Need To Know.
She leaves behind two daughters, aged 12 and six, and a 10-year-old son from previous relationships.
Police chief Daniel Moura told local media: “He struck his partner with a homemade bladed weapon.
“After killing her, he went to the workplace of another woman, who was reportedly the reason for the argument, and struck her multiple times as well.”
Moraes worked for the local authority in cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep.
According to Moura, he showed no emotion when he confessed to killing both women.
He had apparently owned the sword-like weapon for several years, but it’s not clear how it came into his possession.
Meirelles dreamed of becoming a psychologist, according to her cousin Gisane Alves.
Alves said: “She was very hardworking and loved her children dearly. She was always positive, it was rare to see her upset.”
The investigation continues.
