Torrents of water have been filmed running through the streets of a storm-hit British city.
Residents were left stunned after the deluge swept through Truro, Cornwall.
Heavy flooding caused significant problems as cars struggled against the flood water.
And drains blocked with autumn leaves reportedly added to the chaos.
Eyewitness Callie Mae Rogers watched on as rain came down “heavy and fast”.
“I’ve seen floods before but not as bad,” she told Need To Know.
“My partner and a local businessman helped clear the debris and leaves from the drains on the road to help.”
Bridge Street Barber Shop was also hit by floods on Monday.
A spokesman said: “Flooding was really bad from the front door through to the staff room.
“Four inches roughly inside as for outside knee deep in places made worse by cars driving through it which then caused a bow wave.
“So more water came in we were fighting a losing battle.”
