In a clip from the pier camera in Naples, the sea rages as the intense winds battle against the waves.
But then, on the pier, someone appears – holding up a Trump 2024 flag.
The man attempts to secure it upon the pier’s structure and successfully manages to do so.
As he walks off, the flag prevails against the harsh winds; though it’s unclear how long it lasted.
Currently, the live camera is offline.
Hurricane Milton, which is expected to produce at least 27 tornadoes across the state, had already damaged 125 homes before it landed, according to local reports.
Overnight, it weakened to 90mph and has now become a Category 1 storm, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.
On PowerOutage.us, over three million homes are without power.
It’s described to be “one of the most destructive hurricanes on record for west-central Florida” by NHC.
