A former Playboy model and adult star has proclaimed artificial intelligence as the “future of p*rn”.

Jenna Jameson is a household name in the erotic film industry, having been given the moniker ‘The Queen of P*rn’.

Although she loved her job, adult icon was often exhausted from physically-demanding shoots or 14-hour days on set.

The now 50-year-old believes AI will be revolutionary for existing and budding adult stars who want more control over their surroundings, safety and entertainment options.

She has just become the brand ambassador for Unnecessary AI, a new tech company focused on empowering content creators.

“I used to work 14-hour days on set,” said Jenna, who boasts 551,000 followers on Instagram (@jennacantlose).

“It was exhausting – shooting adult films is a very physically demanding job, and it can also be mentally draining to cope with what the industry throws at you.

“AI is a game-changer and will make life a thousand times easier for all types of content creators – p*rn or otherwise.

“I wish this was around when I started out – not only as a time-saver, but also for my own health.

“If one Jenna needed a break, I could have created another Jenna from the comfort of my sofa.

“Though I’m not sure if the world could have handled double the trouble.”

Jenna, who has graced 150 magazine covers worldwide and sold her porn empire, Club Jenna, to Playboy for over $50 million, says there will always be a place for human-based adult content.
But AI is likely to “surpass” what humans can offer.

She said: “When I was approached to become a brand ambassador for Unnecessary AI, I was immediately intrigued.

“Unlike many other tech companies, they prioritise responsibility.

“They won’t make their AI video engine available to the general public – meaning only creators have the opportunity to utilise their own name, image and likeness.

“I’m already thrilled about its capabilities and ability to empower top content creators across all industries.

“As an example, this technology enables creators to explore scenes they might hesitate to film in real life.

“There’s also a focus on safety and mental well-being, as there’s no need to worry about long, uncomfortable shoots or the risk of STIs.

“As the technology continues to advance, I think it will eventually surpass human-based adult content.

“Years ago, people doubted the viability of electric cars yet their adoption has soared.

“It’s evident that humanoid robots and artificial intelligence are on a path to becoming increasingly more common in our lives.

“It could even help in relationships, as people may feel less jealous if their partner is watching AI-generated characters, rather than real performers.”

Unnecessary AI aims to transform the lives of not only adult workers but all content creators – from fashion influencers to musicians.

Users will be able to create AI doppelgängers with photos from the past, present and future.

From there, hairstyles, outfits and body size will be customisable.

The creator can then select a scenario they wish to play out – choosing the Location, storyline and if it’ll be a solo, duo or group activity.

Originally from Las Vegas, Jenna is worth over an estimated $50m (USD) (£38.2m) and hopes this new venture will create a different path of success.

While she is set to launch an AI clone of herself next year, her main focus is to drive change and make conditions better for today’s generation of content creators.

Jenna said: “I want to use my experience to inspire and help other adult content creators.

“The most responsible AI tech companies aim to use this tech to enhance our lives, not replace connections entirely.

“To create great p*rn, you still need someone involved during the editing process with a deep understanding of the human experience and what the viewer desires.

“Even as the technology becomes more advanced, some people may continue to favour the authenticity and unpredictability of human performances.

“But the option is there – and AI provides endless benefits for content creators to work smarter, stay safe and have more control over their own work.

“After my years in front of the camera, I know just how important this is.”
