A vicious mugger bit off his female victim’s outside her front door
The suspect, who still remains at large, disfigured her ear before making off with her belongings.
The violent attack took place in the city centre in broad daylight.

In the CCTV footage, the suspect is seen trying to grab something from the victim’s hands as she screams in horror.
She falls to the ground as the man appears to rummage through her pockets.
He then leans in and seemingly starts biting her right ear.
The thug apparently gets what he wants and then scarpers off.
The shocked victim gets to her feet as a neighbour comes out to offer his help.
The woman holds her right ear as she points to the direction in which the suspect fled.
The shocking scenes were filmed in Córdoba in northern Argentina at around 2.30pm on 20 September.
The authorities have just released the CCTV footage in hope of tracking down the suspect who remains on the run.
According to reports, the mugger bit off a piece of the victim’s ear during the attack.
She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and is now recovering from her ordeal.
The brutal assault shocked many local residents who expressed their concerns over the surging crime rate in Córdoba, as reported by Need To Know.
They have called on the authorities to provide extra policing in the city centre to prevent such violent attacks from happening again.
The police investigation is ongoing.
