An influencer has shown off the nasty cuts and scrapes she sustained to her face after an e-scooter accident.
Isabel Busetto was heading home from a dinner with friends when she suffered the bad fall.
She told her social media followers on Sunday (13 Oct): “We were trying to get a taxi, but none were available.

“So we stupidly decided to take scooters at night on Rome’s uneven streets.
“Not long after we started, I hit a pothole badly, lost my balance, and found myself face-down on the ground.”

Her friends called an ambulance and she was taken to a hospital, where she spent the whole night getting various check-ups.
Isabel’s selfies show her with plasters on the bridge of her nose and on her chin.
She also has nasty scrapes on her cheek, lips, and forehead.
The 19-year-old told her fans: “Fortunately, just a few stitches on my arm and chin, nothing broken, just a few bruises.”
Isabel boasts 288,900 followers on TikTok and 101,000 on Instagram, where she shares snaps from her travels around Italy and the world.
She warned her fans to take extra care when riding e-scooters, as reported by Need To Know.
The influencer said: “Right after me, two other guys who had fallen off scooters arrived at the hospital in critical condition.
“You really have to be careful when using these scooters.”
According to the Italian National Institute of Statistics’ 2024 report on road accidents, road accidents involving electric scooters rose from 2,929 in 2022 to 3,365 in 2023.
Injuries rose from 2,787 to 3,195, while deaths within 30 days rose from 16 to 21.
