A hero passerby saved a mother and her child after their VW Beetle suddenly burst into a fireball in the street.
The unnamed man did not hesitate, bravely running towards the flaming car to drag the frightened occupants to safety.
The CCTV clip shows the mother waiting at a crossroads in her old black Beetle.

The vehicle apparently breaks down and she tries to restart the engine, located in the rear of the classic car.
The back of the Beetle then suddenly erupts in flames.
The fire quickly spreads and black smoke is seen billowing into the sky.
The two occupants begin screaming in fear.
The passerby is seen running towards the flaming car before dragging the young girl out.
He then helps the mother out of the vehicle and rolls her along the ground to extinguish any flames on her clothing.
She joins her sobbing daughter on the pavement as the Beetle continues to burn in the street.
Another local runs to the wreckage with a fire extinguisher and promptly snuffs out the flames.
Minutes later, officials from the Secretariat of Public Security arrived on the scene to cordon off the area and remove the wreckage from the street.
The mother and daughter, who were both in a state of shock, were treated at the scene by paramedics, as reported by Need To Know.
It’s unclear if either required hospital care.
The dramatic scenes were filmed at the intersection of 63rd and 42nd streets in downtown Mérida, located west of Cancun in Mexico, on the afternoon of Tuesday (15 Oct)
Local Edith said: “My respect to that man for taking the risk he did, he rushed to save that woman and her daughter.
“God will look after him, along with those other people who helped.”
A second added: “There are still some good people in our city! And this shows the importance of always having a fire extinguisher at hand.”
Another said: “The authorities should recognise these people for their heroism, they risked their lives to save others.”
