A famous YouTuber has spoken of his heartbreak after his father tragically passed away.
Jordi Wild, whose full name is Jordi Carrillo de Albornoz, shared the news with his 3.3 million followers.
The 40-year-old is finding the loss to be “a nightmare that I find hard to accept”.

He is set to take a few days away from social media so that he can come to terms with the situation.
The content creator’s podcast series, ‘The Wild Project’, which won the 2022 ESLAND award for the Best Talk Show, is also being put on hold.
Jordi has stated that his whole family have been left shocked by the loss which kept them “in suspense for days”.

In an emotional post online, the YouTuber shared some photos of his father, including some from when he was young.
“This is the most difficult thing I have had to write in my life, a nightmare that I find difficult to accept” said Jordi, who is from Spain.
“But I have to communicate that my father has passed away.
“It has been something totally unexpected and that has kept us in suspense for days, until, finally, his flame has gone out.”
Jordi’s father, who he referred to as Papa Giorgio, was loved by his son’s fans.

The content creator often discussed his relationship with his dad on his podcast, leading to his followers taking a particular affection for him.
In an extensive message, which was shared on 5 November, Jordi continued: “My father was the most wonderful person who ever existed.
“A great father and husband, and my best friend.
“I miss him so much, and I know that many of you also loved him a lot; that Papa Giorgio was important and you had him on a pedestal.
“He also loved you very much, his internet users.
“I’m going to take a few days off to be with my mother and because right now I don’t have my head focused to record.

“I hope to return soon, as I know that being busy will do me good.
“I wish I had never had to write something like that.
“My parents are a pillar, and I don’t know how I’m going to get over this, but I know that he would want us to move on.
“And that’s what we’ll try to do.”

Jordi has asked that his followers be patient with him, assuring them that he will be back online soon.
He has received kind messages of support online.
Mariana said: “The day we children don’t want to come, and when it does, it’s devastating. My condolences.”

Mary added: “A great angel in the sky. Stay strong Jordi, take the time you need.”
“Papa Giorgio man. How much joy that man gave us,” said Jordania.
Someone else said: “A strong hug for you Jordi and for your family, and I’m sorry your father was a great man.”

“Much strength Jordi. A huge hug and an eternal memory for Papa Giorgio,” added Juanma.
