A brute stole a couple’s pet cat after allegedly breaking his leg with the chilling moment captured on their doorbell camera.
Anabela Cunha and her husband Joseph were horrified after watching the footage.
They fear that Simba’s leg was also broken.
The moggy thief picked up their ginger puss and restrainted him by putting him between his legs.
He waddled away from their home with the poor cat screaming in agony and distress.
The cat crook then fled with Simba, six.
Anabela, 53 and her 60-year-old husband alerted cops.
They have also put up a £1,000 reward from Simba’s safe return.

The former stray – who the couple have had for a year – was stolen from outside their house in Maple Close, Mitcham, south London at 1pm last Thursday (Nov 7).
Tearful Anabela told Need To Know: “It looks as if Simba’s back leg was broken when he was taken.
“And that’s why he’s screaming.
“I just want to know why someone would take him and hurt him like this.
“Why?”

She added: “He is independent and loves living with us.
“I’m praying that he’s still alive and if he is he may make his own way home.”
The man who took Simba dropped a small bag on the drive.
Anabela and Joseph are hoping it may help give the police vital information to catch the thief.
Pal Robert Boath said: “Evil scum, I hope you get your cat back.”

Tina Christopher added: “Why on earth would someone want to steal a cat?”
Another added: “I would just need two minutes with that individual.”

A Met Police spokesperson said: “On Thursday, 7 November officers received a report that a ginger and white cat had been stolen from Maple Close, Mitcham.
“No arrests have been made.
“Enquiries continue.
