They all lean forward in slow motion before falling towards the man.
The forklift is large enough to hold up four of them, but one escapes.
It comes crashing down directly above where the man is sitting – hitting the forklift and completely breaking its seat.
The man can be seen slumping backwards and falling to the ground where he lays lifelessly beside the forklift.
His white work helmet appears to remain on his head.
After being immediately rushed to the hospital, he is now in a stable condition, as reported by Need To Know.
At least six firefighters arrived on the scene to tend to the man who miraculously survived the ordeal.
The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) has stated that the man, from Malaysia, sustained lacerations to his head and body.
They also reiterated that as a general safety measure, containers must be properly stacked according to an acceptable pattern and maximum height to prevent them from toppling.
It added that it is investigating the incident and has instructed that all empty container-handling work activities be stopped at the site.
The company will stop their daily work routine to review workplace safety, health systems and work processes.
This will be followed by measures to control risk.
The accident took place on the morning of 25 November at around 6.40am at the container yard located at Pasir Panjang Terminal 3, in Singapore.
