An overly festive driver had to be pulled over due to the Christmas lights he had Sellotaped on to the car.
The driver of the Volkswagen Golf had covered the motor in decorations in the build up to the special day.
However, cops were forced to pull the man over due to the unsafe nature of the makeover.

According to the attending officers, the man wasn’t too happy with the news.
The driver had spent a few hours getting ready to showcase his festive cheer on the roads.
Unfortunately for him, his sellotaped exterior led to him having to remove them after getting a slap on the wrist from the cops.
Police have now advised drivers to stick to putting lights on their trees and not on their vehicles.

The incident took place on 29 November.
The North Wales Road Policing Unit pulled the driver over in Wrexham, as reported by Need To Know.
North Wales Police stated: “We all love a bit of the festivities here in the Roads Crime Unit.
“However we advise that you keep your Christmas tree lights on your Christmas tree and not on your car.
“This chap thought otherwise when we stopped him in Wrexham earlier today.
“We had to be a bit of a Grinch when we spoke with this driver, kindly asking him to remove the few hours of work he spent decorating his vehicle.
“It is not legal.
“It is not safe.
“It causes distractions to other road users, it could cause injury to other road users and worst of all they were stuck on with Sellotape.
“Strong words of advice to this driver on this occasion.
“Enjoy the festive period but please keep the decorations on your tree next time.”
Members of the public were left shocked by the design and the reasoning behind the driver being pulled over.
Ben Davey said: “Should be illegal in aspects of taste also.”

Kate Lacey added: “I think someone has been looking at TikTok, though the one I saw used duct tape at least.”
Mark Perrin stated: “I mean, as long as they’re not switched on when they’re driving should be ok right?”
Paul Elliott said: “But it’s ok for the police to blind drivers with their excessive amount of white led lights.”

Paul Evans-Dunne added: “But big blue flashing lights all over a car is fine?”
