A pet shop has been left heartbroken after their Christmas tree was stolen.
The Pets at Home store in Salford, Manchester, were gifted the tree by animal charity, RSPCA, but the festive cheer was sadly only short-lived reports Need To Know.
And sadly, the perpetrators got away with the festive gear in tow.

The Manchester and Salford branch of the charity took to social media and shared the news.
They wrote: “The Grinch has struck.

“Each year, we create a Christmas-themed installation at Salford Pets at Home to jolly up the store and spread some cheer.
“Our team member, Steph, made this marvellous display this year, only for the big white tree in the centre of the scene to be stolen on Saturday.
“Security was alerted, but the thieves had driven off before they got there.
“It’s a sad state of affairs that someone would do this, but we won’t let it ruin our Christmas spirit.”

They also asked the public to show their team some TLC in light of the situation.
They continued: “Show our team some extra love this week, here’s what you can do.
“If you shop at Salford Pets At Home Salford donate to our Christmas fundraiser at the till.
“Share our posts and animals for adoption and encourage others to adopt.
“Shop and donate at our charity shops
“Donate directly to us online We launch our Christmas raffle soon, buy tickets when it’s live.”
