A motorcyclist was left distraught after her beloved pet cat escaped from her backpack while she was travelling along a busy highway.
Rümeysa İdin, 25, was riding on 13 August when her cat, Pıttık, made her escape.
Emotional footage shows Rümeysa screaming for Pıttık while still driving, before frantically running through traffic as she desperately searched for her beloved pet, as reported by Need To Know.

Thankfully, Rümeysa was eventually reunited with Pıttık, who was found safe and uninjured after coming within inches of being hit by a lorry in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The emotional footage has since attracted around 170,000 views after being posted to social media yesterday (19 August)
The footage divided viewers.
One commented: “Next time the cat should not be on motorcycle!!! This is outrageous.”
