Dozens of animals have been rescued from “deeply disturbing” conditions, with rescuers finding filthy enclosures, untreated injuries and the remains of other animals.
Rescuers found filthy pens littered with faeces, bones and debris – while the remains of numerous animals were also discovered.
A total of 47 animals were removed from the property, including 37 dogs, seven chickens, two turkeys and a pig.

Six of the dogs were nursing puppies and were considered particularly vulnerable, as reported by Need To Know.
The shocking rescue took place in Tennessee on August 11 after the animals were surrendered to authorities during an ongoing investigation involving Cane-9 Rescue and Sanctuary.

The operation, dubbed Operation Money Trail, saw Animal Rescue Corps (ARC) called in to help with the large-scale rescue.
Responders found animals living in pens and kennel structures scattered around the property, with the enclosures covered in faeces, bones and debris.
They also discovered the remains of numerous animals, including several birds, four goats and a piglet.
Many of the dogs had previously been confined inside the property, where ARC said responders found extensive accumulations of faeces and dangerously high ammonia levels.

Veterinary examinations found many of the rescued animals were underweight and dehydrated, with some suffering from ear and eye infections, internal parasites, ringworm and coccidia.
One turkey had severe untreated injuries and was humanely euthanised on veterinary advice.
ARC Executive Director Tim Woodward said: “The nature of this case is deeply disturbing.”
He added: “Animals that were promised safety instead endure prolonged suffering, neglect, and, in too many cases, death.”

The rescued animals are now receiving veterinary care.
The dogs were taken to ARC’s Rescue Center outside Nashville for treatment, vaccinations, food and behavioural support, while the surviving turkey, chickens and pig were moved to a farmed animal sanctuary.
The Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office requested ARC’s assistance with the rescue, evidence collection and documentation.
The Tennessee property is separate but linked to a wider investigation involving Cane-9’s Georgia property, where law enforcement recently executed search warrants and announced arrests over alleged animal cruelty and fraud.
