A chopper has crashed into a river after hitting a power line, claiming the lives of two people.
Shocking footage taken by a bystander shows the moments just before the crash.
The Bell 407 helicopter can be heard approaching the quiet river before coming into shot.
It is flying incredibly low and continues to do so before turning a corner.
Suddenly, the noise of the propellers stop and a huge crash is heard, as reported by Need To Know.
Another video shows a mass of people standing by the river in a bid to offer help, while a boat circles the scene.
Images show the battered helicopter after it is dragged from the water without its windows or propellers.

The two deceased pilots have been named as Carlos Alvarez Arias and Estuardo González Barrios, both from Cubulco, Guatemala.

The crash happened at the Chixoy River yesterday morning (29 December) in Playa Grande Ixcan.
The aircraft reportedly hit power cables before crashing into the water.

Following the crash, locals and a rescue team searched the area including via boats and recovered the dead men’s bodies.
