A 21-year-old biker died in hospital after crashing into a utility pole while taking a selfie video.
Horror CCTV footage shows how the force of the impact knocked Jéfferson Camargo Felix da Silva off his bike.
Da Silva was holding his phone in one hand and the handlebars with the other as he rode down the empty road.

He could be seen looking over his shoulder and into his phone as he stuck his tongue out for the camera.
He turned to face the direction of travel, but he collided with the pole at high speed a split second later.
Da Silva was knocked off his bike and lay motionless with half his body on the pavement and the other half on the tarmac.
His phone briefly spun in a circle with the camera pointing towards the sky.
Firefighters and city guards were called to the scene in Americana near São Paulo, Brazil, on 25 December.
Da Silva – who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash – was taken to a local hospital.
He fought for his life for eight days, but despite the doctors’ best efforts, he died from his injuries on Thursday (2 Jan).
He was laid to rest on Saturday (4 Jan), as reported by Need To Know.

Da Silva was a motorcycle courier and was mad about motorbikes.
He boasted 10,500 followers on Instagram at the time of writing.
The local police have recorded the case as an “accidental fall and suspicious death”.
