A driver was horrified when an avalanche hit his car and surrounded him in white fog.
The shocking moment was captured on video by the motorist.
The driver was the only person in the car at the time.

The video of the incident has gathered over 189,000 views online.
In the clip, he peers out his window before suddenly realising that an avalanche is heading his way.
The snow can be seen plummeting down the large mountain and through the trees.
The driver of the car stops his vehicle and can be seen desperately trying to wind the window up.
Suddenly, the avalanche hits.
Snow hits the window and the car is surrounded by a white mist.
Miraculously, no one was injured in the near miss on Saturday (4 January), as reported by Need To Know.
It happened in the Cottonwood Canyons, Utah, just to the East of Salt Lake City, US.
Winters in Utah are known to be cold and snowy, with long periods of snowfall, freezing temperatures, and short days.
The storm caused dangerous driving conditions and prompted road closures and avalanche warnings.
Viewers have been left shocked by the footage.
