In the video, the man who has his face covered approaches the wax figure and places a Palestinian flag at his feet.
He then proceeds to throw red paint across the statue’s face, splashing it across his chest and over the floor.
Suddenly, he hurls a hammer at the wax figure, taking the face off of the entire thing before knocking it over.
Before he exits the wax museum, located in Mexico City, he approaches the camera and makes a statement in favour of Palestine, Sudan, Yemen and Puerto Rico.
The wax museum has since reminded people that they do not condone any act of violence that risks the safety of their visitors and collaborators.
It was added that the institution was neutral, without any political, ideological or religious affinity.
The Israeli embassy in Mexico also condemned the event which was filmed inside the museum, as reported by Need To Know.
They wrote: “The aggression committed against the statue of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a detestable action that sends a dangerous message of violence, intolerance and hatred, which exceeds any legitimate criticism.”
Since seeing the video, people on social media have given their views on the activist’s actions.
Antonio wrote: “Oddly satisfying.”

Someone else added: “Idiot.”
“It speaks to the mentality of the pro Hamas idiots,” wrote Christa.
Another person commented: “Such a brave guy, they need his bravery in Gaza.”
“Sow hate and reap,” another viewer said.
