An influencer has revealed how meal prepping is ruining her love life.
Rosana Ferreira, 38, is a mum to 11-year-old Marcelo and, for the most part, leads a quiet life.
She has started putting herself out there by getting back on the dating scene.

But sadly for Rosana, her eating habits are putting people off.
“My strict diet is sabotaging my love life,” Rosana, from Brazil, told Need To Know.

“I have discipline and a commitment to it and my fitness meal preps are essential to maintaining my impeccable body.
“But this is causing tension in dating and relationships.
“I know my lifestyle is unconventional, but I never imagined it could interfere so much with men.”
The former Miss BumBum winner claims that she has put herself in embarrassing situations because of her love of meal prepping.
She said: “Once, I brought a meal with eggs and sweet potatoes to a date at a restaurant.

“My date was clearly uncomfortable and said I should relax and enjoy the time we had together.
“But for me, this is my life.
“It ended up being the last date as he said he couldn’t deal with my ‘excessive commitment.'”
On another occasion, during a romantic trip away, Rosana admitted to spending more time organising her meals than enjoying her partner’s company.

She said: “I was worried about keeping up with my diet, so I packed several meals for the weekend.
“He thought I was overdoing it and said it seemed like I was dating my meal prep, not him.
“The relationship ended soon after.”

And while watching a movie at her house with another man, she claims her packed lunch made him feel uncomfortable.
She said: “We were on the couch, and I took out my chicken and broccoli meal.
“He said the smell was unbearable and ended up leaving.
“It’s funny, but at the same time frustrating, to realise that something so basic to me affects others so much.”
But these situations have also made Rosana reflect on how her dedication to a fitness lifestyle might impact her relationships.
She said: “People don’t understand that this is part of who I am.
“I’ve heard things like ‘you love your meals more than me.’
“And it hurts because my focus on my diet is something I do for myself, not against anyone.”
Despite the challenges, for now, Rosana is remaining firm in her eating routine.
She added: “My body is the result of my effort and discipline.
“I know it doesn’t please everyone.
“But I prefer someone who accepts me with my meal preps rather than changing who I am to please someone.
“My commitment is to myself.”
