An influencer has been criticised for selling his own semen to an enamoured fan for a tidy sum.
Gabe Spec has over 237,000 followers on Instagram, who frequently send him DMs, but he was somewhat surprised when one of them had a special request.
The content creator claims to have been offered £6,500 for his sperm.

At first, he thought it was a joke, but the fan said it was a “fetish” of theirs, happily transferred the cash, and awaited their special delivery.

Happy to make easy money, Gabe obliged – but he says his decision has not gone down well online.
“When they reached out, I thought it was a joke, but the person was serious and willing to pay the price,” the Brazilian native told Need To Know.

“I thought: Why not?
“In my line of work, we come across unusual requests all the time.”
Social media users questioned the health and legal implications of providing this type of product, but Gabe defended his actions.
He said: “This isn’t something I would do every day but I see it as part of my job: Providing unique experiences for those seeking something they can’t find elsewhere.
“People love to criticize what they don’t understand.
“I always say I’m not here to please everyone but to meet the demands that make sense to me.
“I understand people might see this as controversial but I don’t think I did anything wrong.

“I know stories like this attract attention but I don’t want it to define who I am or my work.
“It was a consensual transaction between adults, plain and simple.”
