An angry driver got in a road rage row with a moped rider but was mocked for slapping him because he was wearing a helmet.
The two men had a row in the middle of a busy, four-lane road.
The motorist left his silver VW Golf to remonstrate with the scooter rider.
The driver – clad in orange hi-vis trousers – took a swing at his rival.
But the slap had no effect on the moped rider—who was wearing all black—because he had a helmet on.
The driver eventually got back in his car at the traffic lights and pulled away.
The man on the scooter who was with another on a red moped then continued to argue with the Golf motorist.
The 49-second video – filmed by an onlooker from a nearby building – then came to an end.
It happened yesterday (26 Jan) morning on Commercial Road, Limehouse, east London.

Thankfully the road rage clash didn’t result in anyone getting hurt.
However, some locals were baffled by the driver striking the rider, as reported on Need To Know.
Bryan Rogers said: “Bit pointless hitting him.”

Garry Beckett added: No point in going for the head if he’s wearing a helmet.”
He joked: “One to the guts and a kick up the b*llocks normally does the trick though.”
A third said: “Biker got a slap and cooled off.”
Another added: “Moving like GTA characters.”
A fifth said: “London is too busy, too many cars, too many people.

“In a few years time, it’s going to be worse.”
Shay quipped: “That car needs a serious wash.
“What the f*ck.”
The Met Police has been approached for comment.
