Three grieving cats are facing a double heartache after their owner died, and now no one wants them.
The trio – called Atlas, Taurus and Midnight – are inseparable.
The grieving felines have struggled to come to terms with having to move out.

Potential adopters have come forward for male silver tabbies, Atlas and Taurus.
But they don’t want poor black moggy, Midnight, too.

RSPCA staff said because the cats, all three, have such a close bond, they have to stay together.
They are being cared for at the Great Ayton Animal Centre, in Middlesbrough, as reported on Need To Know.

Cattery Supervisor, Beverley Dunn, said: “It’s been an incredibly confusing time for them.
“Suddenly, having to leave a home where they were loved and cherished pets.
“We know that taking on one cat, let alone three, is a big responsibility, but Atlas, Taurus and Midnight are totally devoted to one another.

“Unfortunately, the enquiries, so far, have been from people who have wanted to adopt Taurus and Atlas together, but not Midnight.
“They’ve forged such a close bond, that we really can’t split this little group of friends up, especially after everything they have been through.
“They’ve gained a lot of confidence since they arrived and we know they will continue to thrive in a home environment with patient and understanding owners.

“We know the right home is out there for them somewhere and we’d urge people who are considering adoption and are in a position to offer three devoted cats a fresh start, to get in touch.”
