A three-year-old boy playing in front of his house was allegedly kidnapped with the horror moment caught on CCTV.
Chilling footage showed the young lad in the street.
A man – wearing a yellow shirt – then approached him.
He reached out his hand to the boy who willingly went with the man and they walked down the street.
The child’s parents were with him but had quickly gone back inside the house, with the man spotting a window of opportunity to swoop in.
He walked the child to a temple where an event was being held, however, the parents also followed.
The worried mum and dad were able to find their son quickly as the man hovered by the place of worship in Phan Thong, southeast of Bangkok, Thailand.
Locals believed that they were a father and son until the parents took their child back from him.
Horrified by what he had done, a crowd cornered the man as they waited for police to arrive on the scene.
Shortly after, he was arrested and taken to the Phan Thong Police Station where he is still believed to be being held.
He is thought to be from Myanmar, and police are currently checking to see whether he has a valid passport.
According to authorities, the man was in a drunken state when being arrested, as reported by Need To Know.

The boy’s father has revealed that he hopes police will take legal action against the man.
