A teenage basketball player attacked a mother in the middle of a match after she allegedly called her a ‘monkey” from the seats.
Footage taken by the woman herself shows how she showered the 17-year-old player with insults throughout the game.
The player managed to keep her cool but lost it when the mother allegedly yelled out: “You’re a monkey!”

The clip shows how she walked towards the seats, hopped over the barrier, and climbed up towards her abuser.
The camera jolted and groans of shock rang out as the player grabbed the woman on Monday (3 Feb) evening.
The mother had gone to the under-19 game in Rimini, Italy, to watch her two kids play with the away team from Cesena.
She was live-streaming as she barked at the home player: “Who are you? A dog’s leash? Aren’t you ashamed?”
She took the video down after being accused of racism, but by that time, it had already been widely shared.
Immediately after the scuffle, officials from both teams condemned the mother’s actions, leading her to claim: “I didn’t mean to be racist.”
A Nuova Virtus Cesena spokesperson said “We would like to offer our sincerest apologies and distance ourselves from the unacceptable and offensive behaviour of an unregistered parent.
“We strongly condemn racist and discriminatory behaviour, which has no place and must not be tolerated in our sporting environment.”
Happy Basket Rimini has said it will report the mother to the police, as reported by Need To Know.
Cesena sports councillor Christian Castorri said: “We distance ourselves from what occurred on this occasion and reaffirm that sports practice cannot and must not allow any room for verbal or physical violence.”
Rimini sports councillor Michele Lari described the incident as “shameful”.
