She was driving to go for a walk with her dad, aged 68, and the five-year-old boy, when she lost control of her car.
Mihaela’s car careered into a river and immediately sank.

Emergency services quickly headed to the scene after Mihaela managed to make a call for help in what would be the final thing she did.
By the time they got there, the car had been carried a few metres upstream.
They were able to rescue Mihaela, her dad, and her nephew who was unconscious.
The three were rushed to hospital where doctors were forced to perform CPR.
Unfortunately, the young woman was unable to be saved and passed away hours after the accident.

Her father also passed away after arriving at the hospital, and the young boy is currently fighting for his life.
Local press have reported that Mihaela had 11 siblings who have been left devastated by the accident.
The incident took place on 4 February, and Mihaela crashed into the Olt River, in Vâlcea, north west of Bucharest, Romania.
It has been said that she travelled from Germany to visit her hometown, Perisani.
Mihaela, who was family-oriented, shared a chilling post on her Facebook page the night before she died, as reported by Need To Know.

She reposted a photo of a cushion which had a special message directed at mum’s etched on it.
“Mum, if your life depended on the love I have for you, you would be immortal,” it said.
Local police are currently investigating the crash to determine what exactly had happened leading up to it.
