A nonchalant shoplifter calmly walked out of a Tesco store with four bottles of wine as shocked shoppers – including a local councillor – watched on.
Security guards in the supermarket were also helpless to stop him from walking out.
The crook made no attempt to hide his face from the CCTV in the shop.

He had two bottles of red plonk in each hand.
The thief also had other items in the pockets or underneath his black, zip-up hoodie, chasing it to budge out.
It happened at the Tesco Express supermarket, on Hanworth Road, Hounslow, west London.

Local councillor Ron Mushiso was in the shop and filmed what happened on his mobile phone.
He slammed the crook – thought to be acting as part of a thieving gang.
He told Need To Know: “It is frightening how nonchalant this criminal was.
“I heard later there is a team of them.

“The store has taken all sorts of preventive measures but of course, they don’t have a perfect system.”
Cllr Mushiso added: “I feel sorry for the staff.
“Thankfully the response from the Met Police was fast and they have taken all the evidence.
“Including bodycam, CCTV and this video I took.
“I am confident these criminals will get caught.”
Locals also blasted the brazen crime which happened at 7:05 pm on Sunday (9 Feb).
Glyn Trader said: “These scums make me sick, blatant robbing of alcohol, nothing to do with cost of living.
“They do it because there is zero deterrent or consequences.
“Another example of the decline and degradation of this great country.”
Dan Ryan fumed: “Seriously what’s the point of having a f*cking security guard?”

Steve Smith joked: “Self service.”
Tesco and the Met Police have been approached for comment.
