Four police officers were saved by the skin of their teeth after running out of the way of a hurtling bus in the nick of time.
Footage of the close call shows how three officers were standing on the roadside.
None of them seemed to notice the bus drifting from the lane and rapidly closing in on them from behind.

They turned their heads at the last minute to see the bolting vehicle about to slam into them.
They and a fourth officer could be seen sprinting onto the grassy verge a split second before the bus thundered past them a whisker away.
It eventually came to a stop after hitting a patrol car.
Luckily, no one was in the patrol car and only the driver was on board the bus, which had finished its route.

Both vehicles sustained damage in the smash in the early hours of last Wednesday (26 Feb).
The police vehicle, whose front was completely destroyed, bore the brunt of the impact.
The 27-year-old bus driver was unharmed.

When questioned, he told the police he had fallen asleep at the wheel.
He was breathalysed but was not found to be under the influence of alcohol, as reported by Need To Know.
One social media user asked: “How many hours had the driver been driving the bus?”
The four police officers were conducting a checkpoint in Córdoba, Argentina, when the transit vehicle swerved towards them.
Thanks to their quick reactions, none were harmed.
