He repeatedly hits it in the eye, before unleashing fury on a statue of a cartoon dog.
As well as the two figures, the man also vandalised a restaurant in the area, and threw a brick at the window.
He is seen hitting the windows of the building in another CCTV clip, and he caused them to smash.
The man appears to act alone in the incident which occurred on the streets of Concepción, in Chile, in the early hours of the morning on 5 March.
His actions were caught by chance, as many of the city’s surveillance cameras allegedly do not work.
It was characters from a Chilean comic book called Condorito which were attacked, including Condorito himself, and his dog Washington.
The restaurant, Marbella, suffered significant damage as a result of the man’s actions.
Its owner, Manuel Abufarhue, has revealed to local press that he hopes to meet with the mayor of Concepción, as reported by Need To Know.
He is said to be upset about the state of his restaurant after it was destroyed.
It is not known if authorities will be getting involved after the attack.
