A motorcyclist miraculously escaped death after his laptop took the impact from a bullet.
The 35-year-old biker was riding along a road on Tuesday (18 Mar) when he was closed in on by five men.
One of them threw a bicycle in front of his motorbike, forcing him to stop.

A man then grabbed him while the others turned off the motorbike.
Despite raising his hands, he was shot in the back by one of the group.
They fled with the motorcycle, leaving their bicycles at the scene in São Paulo, Brazil.
A passerby, who had witnessed the horror unfold, took the victim – a chief technology officer – to a hospital in nearby Osasco.
Luckily, the bullet had lost momentum as it passed through his rucksack and his laptop, which was tucked inside it.
He received stitches and was discharged the same day, as reported by Need To Know.

His motorbike was found abandoned on a street in Osasco hours later.
His wife told local media: “He said he first thought he’d been hit with a heavy blow and didn’t realise it was a gunshot.
“By the time he understood what had happened, it was all over in a flash. The criminals had already taken the bike and fled.”

The police are now working to catch the suspects, who are still at large.
The man’s wife added: “Everyone was shocked by the situation. Even the doctor was amazed.
“Thanks to the backpack, the cover, the jacket, and the laptop, the bullet didn’t penetrate anything. It really was a miracle.”
