A fast-moving train slammed into a car after the hapless driver made a wrong turn at a level crossing.
The motorist turned onto the crossing before apparently realising she had taken the wrong route.
She tried to reverse off the tracks, but the barrier lowered behind the car at that very moment.

She attempted to ram the barrier out of the way, but to no avail.
The woman and a man got out and abandoned their vehicle just before the train smashed into it.
They looked on helplessly as the locomotive sent it flying across the street.
The crash caused traffic jams and train delays for several hours, in Liège, Belgium, as reported by Need To Know.
One local said: “Maybe the sun stopped them from seeing the blinking red lights.
“I can understand these accidents when you’re not used to the roads.”
Marlene added: “They didn’t seem that worried about it.”

Chantal said: “I feel sorry for the train driver who must have been very scared and is still in shock.”
Arnaud said: “If there are red lights and a barrier, it’s not for nothing…”
Joelle joked: “At least the trains were running for once.”
It happened last Wednesday (19 Mar).
