An OnlyFans star has warned “never meet your idols” after allegedly being “treated like a peasant” by a fellow influencer – with fans speculating on who it could be.
Camilla Araujo was enjoying herself at a festival when she spotted a famous face in the crowd.
The 22-year-old rushed up to say hello but was left less than impressed by the welcome she received.

The content creator, who lives in the Bop House (@bophouse), has taken to TikTok to share her story with fans – with the clip racking up 10m views.

In the video, she doesn’t name who the celeb was – but some fans believe it to be 24-year-old, Alix Earle, who rose to fame with her ‘Get Ready With Me’ series.
Adding fuel to the fire, Earle also commented underneath the post.
“I recently met one of my favourite influencers, and it did not go the way I thought it was going to go,” said Camilla, an influencer in her own right, who boasts more than three million followers on Instagram, @realcamillaara.
“There was an event that happened here in Miami this weekend, and there were a lot of people there.
“There was a VIP section and I see this person and I’m like ‘oh my God’. I’m telling Julia [my housemate] that I have to go say hello.
“I basically chase this person down, which was kind of embarrassing because I had socks on, because I took my shoes off.

“I ran after this person, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, hi, I have a table here, I would love it if you could come and take a shot with us really quick, and you can even bring your friends.
“‘Just come hang out for a second’.
“I was like, ‘I really love you, I love your content, and I’ve been watching you for a long time’.
“I don’t know if something was happening and I wasn’t aware of it, but the way I felt so dismissed, the way they responded was like, ‘I mean, yeah I’ll have a shot, like I don’t really care’.

“And they were with a group of people, and they were all just looking at each other, and it was me and my friend standing there, and it’s awkward.
“They look at me, and they’re like, ‘I think we’re just going to go into the GA section and hang out with a couple of people’.
“It’s not that they were rude or anything, but the way I felt dismissed was insane, because when I meet you guys, I want you to feel heard.

“I want you to feel like we have some sort of one-on-one conversation, and I want you to know how much you mean to me and how much I love you, so I kind of expected other people to treat their fans that way.
“It was a very humbling moment for me.
“Don’t meet your idols – except me.”
In her comment, Earle wrote: “Hi I just dm you if this is abt me! I would never be outright rude or dismissive to someone… want to figure this out.”

Viewers have come out in droves to comment on the celebrity spat – but not everyone is taking Camilla’s side.
Krystal Marie said: “Not everyone has to associate themselves with you.”
Darin Nicole said: “Girl, she owes you nothing. That’s your own problem.”
Someone else defended Camilla, saying: “These comments are weird. Your feelings are valid.”

Others are convinced the influencer – who Camilla didn’t name – is Earle.
One person said: “Why is Alix Earle one of your favorite influencers?”
Another viewer said: “I met Alix Earle in the summer at a local bar and she was super sweet and took a pic with us. If you had a bad experience you may have just caught her at a bad time.”
Anna Maria added: “Camilla rather than Alix Earle, Camilla is actually genuine.”

Another person added: “Alix Earle went to a university and graduated and was gifted her own scholarship program. I don’t think she wants to hang out with the bops.”
Responding to the comments, Camilla said: “I’d never treat my fans like that and act awkward for no reason.
“I’d always give them a hug and make it the best experience ever.
“The influencer treated me like a peasant.
“I was just venting and sharing a relatable experience, and people are calling me entitled.”
