A distraught singer was in tears as she explained how complications had forced her to have her breast implants removed.
Fernanda Villalobos told her 44.4m TikTok followers about her “post-operative crisis” in a teary video on Wednesday (2 Apr).
The clip shows the singer, who is better known as Katteyes, looking forlorn as she did her make-up in the bathroom.
She said in a voiceover: “For those who don’t know, one of my implants became encapsulated.

“That means your skin forms tissue around the implant, and it can keep tightening until it might burst.
“You know that if an implant ruptures, it can cause cancer, cysts can form. It’s really dangerous.”
The 20-year-old Chilean said she’d been crying and having anxiety as she recovered from the scary procedure.

Katteyes – who was born in Santiago but lives in Los Angeles in the US – said: “My surgery lasted about four hours.
“They had to remove the implant, clean out the tissue inside, and that’s why this recovery has been twice as painful for me.”
The singer also took aim at her online critics, explaining: “I just wanted to share the process with you.

“It’s not about being dramatic or trying to get attention like some people have said.”
Katteyes released her first song, “Perdemos el control” (We Lose Control), in 2018, when she was just 13 years old.
It has since racked up millions of views on YouTube.
She launched her own clothing brand, called “I’m Not Crazy”, in 2021.
She won an MTV Millennial Award later that year, as reported by Need To Know.
Her fans have been sending her their best wishes on social media as she recovers from the op.
Long-term complications of breast implants include capsular contracture, implant rupture, and infections.
Studies suggest that up to 10 per cent of patients experience capsular contracture, which may require corrective surgery in more severe cases, such as Katteye’s.
