A father and his two young daughters died when their car smashed into a lorry – as their mother fights for her life in hospital.
Vincenzo Loccisano, 53, was killed with Maria Sophie, 13, and Grace Fatima, eight.
Wife and mother Morena Femia, 45, was pulled from the wreckage in a critical condition.

She remains in intensive care after two operations.
The smash happened on the SS682 Jonio-Tirreno road near Rosarno in Calabria, Italy, at about 6am yesterday (10 Sep).
The family’s Peugeot hit a heavy goods lorry head-on at kilometre 3.2 heading towards Rosarno.
The father and his daughters died at the scene.
The mother was rushed to Polistena hospital under a red-alert emergency.
The lorry driver, who works for a firm in Taurianova, was unhurt but was taken to hospital in shock.
Vincenzo was a haulage driver.
The family lived in Prisdarello, a hamlet of Gioiosa Ionica.
Maria Sophie was due back at middle school within days.
Grace Fatima was still in primary school.
Mayor Luca Ritorto said the town was “literally shattered by this immense tragedy”.
He spoke of a “surreal climate of huge dismay, sadness and bewilderment”.
A day of mourning will be held on the day of the funerals, as reported by Need To Know.
The authorities are still piecing together how the vehicles met head-on.
The road was shut while crews worked at the scene.
Road safety chief Giordano Biserni said: “Another devastating crash that destroys an entire family.”
His group ASAPS said child road deaths in Italy this year now match the whole of 2025.
Relatives have not issued a public statement.
Investigators have not said which vehicle crossed into the opposite lane.
The investigation continues.
