A livestreamer was sent flying when a female scooter rider crashed into him while allegedly using her phone.
The Chinese streamer, known online as “Zhanjiang Jigong”, was live-streaming as he walked and pushed a handcart.
He was chatting to viewers when a scooter suddenly approached from behind.

The rider appeared to head straight towards him before smashing into him.
Zhanjiang Jigong could be heard screaming “ah!” as the impact sent him tumbling to the ground.
The livestream then cut out, leaving viewers fearing the worst.
Rumours later spread online that the influencer had died in the crash.
But he returned to livestreaming on Saturday (5 September) to set the record straight.
He said the rider took him for medical treatment after the collision and that the pair had since reached a settlement.
One furious viewer said the rider had “clearly” deliberately hit him, as reported by Need To Know.
Another wrote: “They’re both idiots – one walking in the road live-streaming, the other riding without looking where he’s going.”
The crash comes amid a growing live-streaming culture in China, with other incidents having also been caught on camera.
In November 2024, influencer “Gai Zhong Gai” and his wife were killed when a heavy object fell from a lorry and crushed their car.
The couple were live-streaming from the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The 47-year-old influencer and his 33-year-old wife were both killed in the impact.
The couple reportedly made a living through live-streaming and short videos.
