Two Brits abroad have been busted carrying drugs and a car break-in kit at a holiday hotspot.
The duo was arrested by cops after officers pulled them over in the early hours of the morning for a routine security check.
The behaviour of the two Brits, who were described as “nervous” by police, aroused suspicion, as reported by Need To Know.

The officers searched the car and found a range of tools that could be used to break into and steal cars.
Several doses of marijuana were found on the pair, and the driver later tested positive for drugs.
The pair were arrested in El Campello, near Alicante, last Wednesday (9 Apr).

The equipment included a master car key, video camera, frequency jammer, masking tape, a hammer, and several screwdrivers, some of which were shaped like lockpicks.
An OBD diagnostic scanner was also retrieved by cops, which is used to detect faults in cars.
Black caps and gloves were also packed into the vehicle.
The gear was impounded by Policia Local, with both men handed over to the custody of the Guardia Civil.

A spokesperson for the local town hall stated: “The Local Police of El Campello intercepted during a routine check on the Torch Road two British citizens traveling in a vehicle loaded with suspicious tools, allegedly intended for car theft.
“Officers detected nervous behaviour that prompted a vehicle inspection.

“In addition to the equipment, doses of marijuana were seized, and the driver tested positive for drugs.
“Both were placed at the disposal of the Civil Guard.”
